Shot out of the visual episode

Here is shot 4 out of the visual episode. It shows from left to right: Alan, Pete, Raina and Steve.
It's not realistic, but can't help to add in a few shadows xD The lighting will be done whenever I have most things finished. So then I will add the shadows and such and polish the drawings.(hair, background and such)
50 more shots to go. lol

In the visual episodes nothing fancy will happen other than the background and characters will pan to a certain way or will be zoomed in. So that you still have the motion going on and don't look at a still shot.

Deadline in 3 weeks

Aye, I thought I would have more time. I thought I could work on projects till halfway July.
But I heard yesterday it has to be rated before june 28th. BEFORE...  which means the project has to be finished even before that x.x
Now, what's my project? Full body character designs for The stranger (The main characters, the extra's will be drawn in simpler styles) plus a visual episode 1. I still have to start as I'm choosing a different animation method now. (no animation at all, just drawings)

Two and half weeks left... Bummer, but it does mean I'll be updating more frequently with character designs.

Episode 2 is on it's way. Received Raina's lines and the other two voice actors will send them in soon.
Shouldn't have procrastinated with drawing ^^;;

The stranger - episode 1 visual style

I only have Raina drawn in this style which may be the style I'm using. Might be even get simplified as I have no idea how the type of animation work I am planning to do XD

The Stranger - episode 1!

Here it is!

Episode 1 - will be uploaded this week!

Episode 1 is coming along nicely. I showed it to a teacher who specialized in audio and he thought it was good so far! The only thing I had to change were the footstep sound effects as it kept repeating 2 steps and that was noticable. I'm really happy he liked it as it's my first time making something like this =D
He also said it was worth 9 points for school! Kaching... xD

So yes, keep an eye out. Wednesday I'll have a talk about making episode 1 visual with a teacher who is specialized in film / visual thingies. I first want to await that talk before I upload it ^-^ Who knows he has some other handy pointers.

Episode 1 - progress

I have almost all lines! There is one missing so far from Deon, but that's okay as it doesn't stop me from mixing =D

All lines (except that missing one) are in the project and now I am adding the sound effects. The pace is quite slow now of the episode so will speed things up as well.

Don't know when I'll have the mixing finished. At least this week I hope, but before I can show the project to my test team I need to have approval of my tutor x.x because if I don't get any approval the test team doesn't have to answer a lot of tedious questions.XD Then they can just listen and write things down that has to be changed.

Episode 1 - getting slightly delayed

Episode 1 is on it's way. I'm mixing in the lines now as much as I can and every now and then a little sound effect. It's still guessing work as I still need the lines of Ryan. Those are delayed as the voice actor can't send them in right now.
But don't worry! I'm working on it. Hopefully when Ryan's lines are in I'm mostly done with the episode, so it can be send off quickly to the test team ^-^
